Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are three of a whopping six clubs who are preparing this summer for the trials and tribulations of Champions League football next year.

When does the transfer window open and close?The summer transfer window initially opens this year on Sunday, June 1 - earlier than usual. However, it will shut early on Tuesday, June 10 at 7pm in the UK.

The early, shorter window was created so clubs competing in the Club World Cup could make signings for their teams ahead of the tournament starting on Saturday, June 14. All clubs, including Arsenal and Spurs too, can also strike up deals in this early window despite not competing in the Club World Cup.
It is likely that this early window shall be scrapped next year and will return when the Club World Cup returns in 2029.
