The State Bank of India (SBI) has informed its customers that most of its digital banking services will be temporarily unavailable on October 25, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance. The downtime is planned from 1:10 AM to 2:10 AM IST. SBI has apologized for the inconvenience and advised customers to use ATMs and UPI Lite during this period.
Due to scheduled maintenance activity, our services UPI, IMPS, YONO, Internet Banking, NEFT & RTGS will be temporarily unavailable from 01:10 hrs to 02:10 hrs on 25.10.2025 (60 Minutes). These services will resume by 02:10 hrs on 25.10.2025 (IST).

Services Affected During Maintenance
The one-hour maintenance will impact the following popular SBI digital services:

UPI (Unified Payments Interface): Payments and fund transfers via UPI will not be possible.

IMPS (Immediate Payment Service): Real-time fund transfers through IMPS will be affected.

YONO App: The SBI YONO app will be temporarily unavailable.

Internet Banking: All banking activities via SBI’s website will be suspended.

NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer): Transactions through NEFT will be paused.

RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement): High-value fund transfers via RTGS will also be unavailable.
Normal banking operations are expected to resume immediately after 2:10 AM IST.
SBI UPI maintenance activity scheduled from 00:15 hrs to 01:00 hrs on 24.10.2025 (IST) has been postponed. We will advise revised schedule later.

Alternative Services for Customers
During the maintenance window, SBI recommends customers:

Use ATMs for cash withdrawals or other banking needs.

Use UPI Lite for small-value digital payments.
SBI’s official communication on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) advises patience and reassures customers about the resumption of services after maintenance.
Note on Schedule ChangeOriginally, the maintenance was planned for October 24, 2025, from 12:15 AM to 1:00 AM IST, but SBI later rescheduled it to October 25. The bank had notified customers about the change on October 23, 2025 via X.
