What are the required qualifications?

Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Research Assistant, candidates must have a B.Tech or B.Tech degree or diploma in any discipline, along with an AMIE degree from a recognized university or institute. For the position of Assistant Town Planner, candidates with a degree or postgraduate diploma in T&C Planning are eligible. Graduates from the Institute of Planners, the American Institute of Town Planners, and the Institute of Town Planners (London) are also eligible.

Age Limit: To apply for both positions, the minimum age of candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age is 40 years. The age limit will be calculated as of July 1, 2025. Based on the date of birth, candidates must have been born no earlier than July 2, 1985, and no later than July 1, 2004.

Salary: Candidates selected for the position of Assistant Town Planner will receive a salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100, depending on Level 10. Research Assistants will receive a salary of ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month, depending on Level 7.
