Jadeja, who was declared as the Player of the Match in Ahmedabad following his all-round efforts, has also managed to snaffle the wicket of Tagenarine Chanderpaul too. The Saurashtra all-rounder got the left-handed batter to nick and KL Rahul caught the ball after three attempts. The veteran managed to break the threatening 66-run partnership between the duo.
India have amassed a mammoth first-innings total of 518/5, majorly on the back of Yashasvi Jaiswal's 175 and Shubman Gill's unbeaten 129. The home side declared after Dhruv Jurel was dismissed for 44. B Sai Sudharsan also found himself among the runs, making 87, while KL Rahul perished for 38.
At the time of writing this, Kuldeep Yadav had gotten rid of Alick Athanaze for 41, leaving the tourists three down. West Indies have still trail by over 400 runs.
