Veteran actor Dharmendra is alive and recovering, despite false rumors about his death circulating widely on social media. His daughter, actress Esha Deol, was quick to dismiss these reports, urging people not to believe or spread misinformation. In an official post, she wrote, "Social media is too quick to spread misinformation. My father is fine and recovering. We request everyone to give our family some privacy. Thank you for everyone's prayers."
Dharmendra was recently admitted to the hospital due to breathing problems, and his health condition worsened temporarily, prompting visits from family and friends. Among those who visited him were Salman Khan, who regards Dharmendra as a father figure, Shahrukh Khan accompanied by his son Aryan, and wife Hema Malini.
As rumors of his death spread rapidly online, Esha's timely denial reassured fans and followers, while Dharmendra’s team also confirmed via social media that his health has improved and he is on the road to recovery.
