M62 traffic RECAP: Chaos on major motorway as crash sparks huge delays

M62 traffic is building after a crash sparked major delays on the busy motorway. The National Highways said motorists will face severe delays of up to one hour following the crash between junctions 22 and 23, near Saddleworth.

Traffic was stopped following the crash and tailbacks are now building. According to National Highways, there are several miles of congestion approaching the scene on both carriageways.
