Fortnite developer Epic Games is adding lots of new content to the game, although the good news ends there.
According to Epic Games, Fortnite update 37.30 is available to download on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Android.
Unfortunately, however, the good news ends there, because you can't actually sample the new content until server maintenance comes to an end.
Fortnite was taken offline at 9am BST UK time, while matchmaking was disabled at 8.30am BST.
The news was announced by Epic Games on X (formerly Twitter), alongside confirmation about what to expect.
"Downtime for v37.30 begins at 4 AM ET, bringing the Dino Megazord Battle Pass Outfit!" reads an Epic post.
"When downtime ends, it'll be time to complete the Megazord Community Quest, and summon the Red Ranger to unlock the Power of Megazord!"
Epic hasn't revealed exactly when downtime will come to an end, but maintenance typically lasts for 2-3 hours.
This means Fortnite and all companion game modes should be back online from 11am BST UK time at the earliest.
As the tweet confirms, the new update adds the Dino Megazord Battle Pass Outfit.
Fans will be able to unlock the Dino Megazord Battle Pass Outfit by completing the Community Quest.
Elsewhere, the new update adds the Batmobile to the game, which will be available in an upcoming item shop update.
According to insiders such as Shiina, Sonic the Hedgehog content is coming to Fortnite, although the files are currently encypted. Sonic the Hedgehog is also coming to Rocket League, so it makes sense for a Fortnite crossover.
It looks like a Red Cube Loot Lake event is also on the way, alongside new skins and companions.
