KOLKATA: Bengal police arrested a BSF jawan and his aide from Lucknow Sunday for allegedly killing a former CRPF jawan, identified as Lalit Mohan Adhikary of Nandigram in East Midnapore, whose body was found with his throat slit in North 24 Parganas district's Ashoknagar last month, reports Sanjib Chakraborty.
On Monday, police produced the accused jawan Abhijit Haldar and his friend Shambhu Pal, both from Ashoknagar, in a Barasat court, which remanded them in three days of police custody.
